Las Vegas tournament results

The results from the two tournaments in Las Vegas are in!

At the Las Vegas Invitational, the University of Arizona finished in 42nd place with a grand total of 8,029 points. As a team, Arizona averaged 855.4 per game, and Noah Boeder led UA with a 185.1 average.

Arizona finished in 38th place overall with 7,995 total (and 35th in Baker total with 2,852) at the Sam's Town Collegiate Shoot-Out, averaging 825.5 per game, where Noah also led with a 204.3 average.

Congratulations also to Nigel Shemanski, Jon Reed, Matt Payne, Danny Bachelier, John Matusik, and Gary Trubl on a job well done. Let's keep building momentum in the spring!

The U of A is sending one team to Las Vegas over winter break for the Sam's Town Collegiate Shoot-Out (December 20th and 21st) and the Las Vegas Invitational tournament (Dec. 22nd and 23rd). 56 teams are currently registered for Sam's Town, and 64 will be competing at the Invitational, so we're hoping for a good showing!
